Sometimes bad things happen But good people don't complain They just ride off in the sunset Get back on the road again Biker biker Go easy Easy Rider Find a new bike to ride On the other side You made some bad decisions But chose the right friends They pull you from the wreck And get you back on the road again Biker biker Go easy Easy Rider Find a new bike to ride On the other side Going where the road is smooth and your gas tank is always full There’s no sirens screaming No lights flashing blue All the Sunday drivers Pull over to the side Endless empty highway On an endless summer night You know I'll be waiting Alone and in the rain Til the sun's out shining And we're back on the road again Biker biker Go easy Easy Rider Find a new bike to ride On the other side Summer thunder Bystanders filled with wonder No clouds in the sky On the other side No clouds in the sky on the other side

Prairie Dogs 03:49
The wolf howls for the pack But only echoes answer back The easy meals came at a cost Caught and everything is lost He licks his wounds Beneath the moon Daylight will be rising soon No goodbyes The mountain lion cries For the last time And the prairie dogs overrun the world The bear curls up to sleep In a cave so dark and deep But the summer sun still shines Feels like the right time His fur is thin - his blood is cold And he's tired and alone - No goodbyes The mountain lion cries For the last time And the prairie dogs overrun the world On 95 I saw a coyote Reminds me of that song by Joni Ill fitting skin and bones Just like the scarecrows clothes Tail between his legs, tongue wagging Flagging me down for a ride The mountain lion cries For the last time And the prairie dogs overrun the world Overrun the world

When you go against the grain There are things you can't explain By the hand that they are made And the place from where they came Miles above beyond the sky In the twinkling of an eye A diamond in the dawn; come and gone Come and gone; come and gone Like a diamond in the dawn We were made to carry on, til we reach the great beyond Come and gone; come and gone We've been waiting here so long A long time gone, come and gone When you go against the grain And you roam across the plain Warm your hands over the flames Of a stranger's fire place Take only what is fair Share all you can spare Give thanks, the day is done; come and gone Against the grain Lying in the grass Living every day as though it were your last A thousand year goodbye In the blinking of an eye And the eyes we closed were blind Never knew the reason why Only thing they left behind Seems like such a strange design A diamond in the dawn; come and gone Come and gone; come and gone Old man dies; a child is born We were made to carry on, til we reach the great beyond Come and gone; come and gone Like a diamond in the dawn A long time gone, come and gone Come and gone; come and gone We 're the children of the corn He Who Walks Behind the Rows is the only one who knows Come and gone; come and gone We've been waiting here so long A long time gone, come and gone A long time gone, come and gone A long time gone, come and gone

Some say I'm crazy But I'm all right I'm a golden child of light One day I'll cross the great divide And the Aurora Borealis at night will be my guide And I will fly on a solar wind I will watch a new world begin And a star become a sun And the Aurora Borealis and I will be as one It just seems pointless; I've had enough Of a world that's forgotten how to love Oh how I long for days gone by And the Aurora Borealis Curling brightly in the sky And I will fly on a solar wind I will watch a new world begin And a star become a sun And the Aurora Borealis and I will be as one It's brighter tonight when the sun goes down And the road is aglow - shows me where to go Nothing in this world can make me stay The Aurora Borealis will shine to guide the way Last night I held out my hand Where the road finally leaves the land And I stood at the very edge Held my breath and closed my eyes and took a final step And I will fly on a solar wind I will watch a new world begin And a star become a sun And the Aurora Borealis and I will be as one the Aurora Borealis and I will be as one

about

The second half - the flipside to a record - of Summer Thunder, a concept record where a itinerant vagabond makes his way across America on a motorcycle. These four songs correspond to their mirror image on Side 1.

Apache Midnight=Summer Thunder
Cactus Flower=Prairie Dogs
Scarecrow=Come and Gone
Downpour=Aurora Borealis

These songs deal with the reality of the senses, what lies beyond our world, both physically and spiritually - the continuing quest where the end leads one to the Aurora Borealis and beyond.
